BLESSSINGS AND CURSES

These are some of the blessings and curses that I think I have because of the stroke:
one blessing is I wasn't very popular in school .if Iwas I think that I would have turned into a jerk. I would be like those snobs who had nothing to do but make fun of people. you all know what I mean because if you are young or old you had them in school.
One curse is that I have Epilepsy. boy that is fun to live with. NOT. It's terrible.
one more blessing/ curse is that I have to use a communication deice called a Pathfinder.
but at the end of the day I am just happy to be alive.
peace out maynard

I totally know what you mean Steph!! God has a reason for everything; He knows how our lives will role out; that's why He created them in the first place. I honestly thank God for bringing such wonderful friends into my life and that includes you too Steph!! If you were with the "popular" crowd, I highly doubt we'd be such good friends as we are today. You are a blessing to me now and will always will be. I love you Steph and I love the fact that despite the physical and emotional blocks that stand in your way, you are a very brave and determined woman who will not let them get you down. I admire you for that so much. You are such a courageous and beautiful friend; thank you for being in my live Steph!! :) Love you always, LeeAnna

Popularity is highly overrated. Though it may be enjoyable for a time, it is much better to be comfortable and enjoy the real friends that you do have.

Oh, and good thing you didn't turn out to be a jerk because your brother would have had to knock you down a notch or two ;) Just kidding.

You are a strong woman Sis. Love ya.

I'm so proud of you Steph!! Little sister!! You are such a strong young woman, and I am so glad that you have decided to write this blog. It blesses me to see that you are helping people understand you better. I know that I will never understand everything you face and go through, but I am thankful that you are willing to teach me through this blog. Thank you so much and love ya. Sarah
